Emergency air ambulance membership in Arizona

In an emergency, a 911 operator may dispatch an emergency air ambulance. Members pay $0 out of pocket for air transport only when the air ambulance provider is part of the AirMedCare Network. Membership does not guarantee that a Network provider will be dispatched.

In most emergency cases, arrangements can be made within a few hours, depending on aircraft availability and required permissions.

It’s a good idea to have both. Air ambulance flights can be expensive, and most insurance plans don’t cover the entire cost. Deductibles, copays, coinsurance and charges above what the insurer considers allowable can add up. If you are transported by an AMCN provider, your membership covers any remaining balance after insurance pays, so you do not receive a bill for the flight.
