AirMedCare Network is an alliance of the country’s most experienced and dependable emergency medical assistance providers — together we’re America’s largest air ambulance membership network. You may already recognize some of these providers by name — they’re often the aircraft you see at local hospitals, airports, or responding to emergencies in your region.

Each provider in the AirMedCare Network operates in partnership with local first responders and hospitals to help patients reach the care they need as quickly and safely as possible. While each provider has its own name and service area, they are all part of the same network and follow shared standards for safety, clinical care, and operational excellence.

This guide is designed to help you better understand who these providers are, where they operate, and how they fit into the AirMedCare Network. Air Evac Lifeteam
Air Evac Lifeteam is one of the leading air medical service providers in the United States, conducting its operations through more than 130 mutually supporting air medical bases across 15 states. The company has established itself as a preeminent provider of air ambulance services to communities in need of advanced emergency health care and rapid medical transport.

Guardian Flight
Guardian Flight is another leading provider of air medical services. Guardian Flight cares for and transports patients from rural settings and hospitals to large tertiary care facilities in metropolitan areas. They utilize the most advanced equipment, highly trained and experienced crews to care for the communities they serve and accomplish their life saving missions.

Med-Trans Corporation
Med-Trans Air Medical Transport has been creating safe, custom air transport solutions for over 35 years. Med-Trans Corporation is headquartered in Denton, Texas and is a leading national air medical provider focused on establishing partnerships with hospital systems, medical centers and EMS agencies through more than 90 bases across 25 states. Med-Trans offers customized air ambulance programs through alternative delivery/shared resource models, community-based models or traditional hospital-based models. They operate a fleet of 100+ aircraft comprised predominantly of Bell 407s, H135s and H145s.

REACH Air Medical Services
REACH Air Medical Services has been committed to high quality patient care since its inception. Dr. John L. McDonald founded REACH Air Medical Services in 1987. His passion for pediatric care allowed him to recognize the need for emergency air ambulance transport. REACH services expanded to include neonatal and adult transport as well. REACH’s clinical staff consists of critical care transport nurses and paramedics. REACH nurses function under an advanced scope of practice, meaning they perform some interventions typically reserved for physicians. REACH clinical protocols are developed and maintained by their group of Medical Directors and the Clinical Education Team to ensure that their clinicians provide evidence-based, patient centered, care.
